Swagbucks, welcome back

Swagbucks tips

That is swagbucks welcome ME back, having deleted my account due to my own stupidity.

They did not like how I did SBTV as quite frankly I was using a refresh add-on in Firefox, then drew attention to myself with some acerbic emails about this and that.

So, I deleted all my old swagbucks posts here, and am starting afresh with this post.

I used to be able to get £25 a month from swagbucks, but with only the occasional Swagbucks TV (SBTV) now, that will be more like £5 a month.

But that is £5 more than I would otherwise have, and the entertainment videos are really good.

Takes 10 video views to get 3 swagbucks. The timer credits you after a minute (actually 50 seconds at the moment, was 30 seconds and before that 1 minute). Maximum points 150 a day cap. That means, for new users of the Internet, that are just starting to find these earning opportunities, that you can view 500 videos ,get 150 swagbucks in one day and then you are told you have reached the maximum limit that they will reward points for.

That does not mean it is a hanging offense to watch more after that, just that you will not get extra points for doing so.

Watch for the Captcha popup that they sometimes use to check if you are using a script to auto-watch the videos. Fail that a few times by ignoring it and not answering it but refreshing the page and so losing it, or enter the characters wrong in too many captchas, and the anti-cheat scripts will flag your account for more captchas until you get them all absolutely 100% correctly answered for a day or two, then they are removed.

Until the next time.
Some members (me as well) used to have them for a month or more. The solution I found to getting rid of the Captchas was, "boycott" swagbucks for a couple of days or so.

At least, do nothing that can have a captcha on it, so no search and no SBTV.

Then do a trial run and answer the inevitable Captcha question 100% correctly first time, then stop and do something else for the rest of the day. The less captchas you have to answer, the less the risk if getting just one wring and so resetting the flag that says you need to be "punished" with captchas for another day or two.

My suggestion to new members is

1.  Do not use cheat sites especially do NOT use any scripts that they make for cheating swagbucks, as swagbucks obviously know about most of them and I suspect detect the scripts and flag your account for deletion. For all the smart-alec knowalls that say I should not have cheated, I still feel I did not, but then I have Asperger Syndrome so think differently from "normal" humans, indeed my examining psychiatrist testing me for Asperger's said our brains are physically wired differently from normal. Which is why we are protected from discrimination by the UK Disability Discrimination Act.
But, I digress...

2. Do not post any swag codes anywhere, you will get your account deleted.

3.  Do not use Reloadevery on Firefox for watching swagbucks TV.

Instead, content yourself with the occasional SBTV video when you have the time.

You CAN earn far more far more quickly anyway, form Trusted Surveys, some are 100 swagbucks a time, that would take 2 hours of watching SBTV at 1 new video a minute rate.

The only disadvantage of surveys is, if you are not in the main interest group that most merchants are interested in, you may waste a lot of time being disqualified.

At least Swagbucks will give you 1 swagbuck as small compensation for trying (up to 5 a day compensation cap).

So, here is the usual list of daily stuff that can earn you swagbucks.

1. Have the swagbucks toolbar enabled, every day that gives 1 point first time the browser is launched.

2.  Daily Poll, 1 point.

3. NOSO (No Obligation Special Offers) 2 points, takes only 20 seconds to skip all the offers if not interested.

4.  Any trusted surveys, at least on swagbuck for trying even if disqualified (DQ'd). Up to 5 compensatory DQ swagbucks daily maximum. Often you will not get any trusted surveys at all, so do not be disappointed if you do not find any on any particular day.

5.  Watch 10 videos while waiting for other stuff (like the Superlucky button on SuperPoints for example) for 3 swagbucks.

6. Look at the Offer Walls on Special Offers page and at least look at the videos, if not LIKE on Facebook various offers for swagbucks, or doing peanutlabs surveys for example.

7. Keep a lookout for the "Gimme" swagbuck codes on Facebook and Blog and other places. Use a site like this one, that carries the SWIDGET and use that to see if a currently active swagcode is available, and enter it into the "Gimme" text input box on the main page and win swagbucks for free.
For the Yanks, 450 points for $5 Amazon voucher is a bargain, only Cantbeatfree beats that rate (for free VIP members).

For us Brits, 850 points for £5 amazon UK voucher is not quite so good points value but better than being forced to accept the USA Amazon voucher like iRazoo do at present.

It is a quirk (due to purchase volume discount) that bigger denominations of Amazon vouchers actually WASTE points.

We are all so used to the concept of BUY BIGGER, GET MORE BANG FOR YOUR BUCK (or £pound) that many unwary new members save up and redeem for $25 or $50 and do not realise they are wasting 1000 points or more (worth another $10).

So, since you can order 5 £5 vouchers for 3250 points, why spend 4250 points on a £25 amazon voucher?

By the way, that 5 is the limit per MONTH for SAME prize redemption.

So if you had lots of points you COULD redeem for 5 £5 and then 5 £25 vouchers before the advisory notice that 5 of the same prize limit had been reached if you then tried to redeem for just one more of these voucher denominations that month.

Sites like irazoo, gifthulk, Superpoints, Zoombucks point comparison

Update 15/April/2012.

Just to make me out a liar, Radium One have now HALVED their points on Zoombucks and iRazoo, presumably all the other sites as well, but I leav it you to check that up. Before that, iRazoo Facebook wall on 10 April state R1 had the Spotify offer for 120 points. So, up and down like a yoyo.

It just shows it pays to "shop around" on all the sites like irazoo, zoombucks, swagbucks, superpoints, new Gifthulk, and cantbeatfree.

Original article below, bear in mind the Radium One (R1) figures need to be divided by two now.

Within each site like Zoombucks, iRazoo, Superpoints and the NEW GIFTHULK, there are the offer walls Radium One and Peanut Labs.

I point out that for one example, SPOTIFY, which wall you use to join up via Facebook, determines how many extra points you could have got or lost.

The fact that peanut labs consistently seems to pay LESS than the corresponding offer on Radium One, was one I was not fully aware of until I noticed Spotify since I have got a week's free Premium from them for pointing out an error in their Legal Terms, so thought I might as well get paid to join up and use it.

Here is the info I have extracted to show what I mean in the case of Spotify, although I can say that I have noticed Cantbeatfree has videos on Radium One that pay 2 points, whereas all other walls only pay 1 point for the same video, so it looks like R1 as it is sometimes called for short, is a better payer all round.

Gifthulk  radium one (wall 1)   16         (13 cents)
Gifthulk  peanut Labs (wall 8)  11         (9 cents)

Zoombucks radium one            20          (20 cents)
Zoombucks peanut labs            13          (13 cents)

iRazoo  radium one                     144      (23 cents)
iRazoo  peanut labs                     84        (14 cents)

SuperPoints radium one                17        (17 cents)
SuperPoints TrailPay (similar)    15        (15 cents)

1 GiftHulk Coin = 500/599 of 1 cent or 0.835 cents  (0.5 pence)
1 Zoombucks point = 1 cent  (0.6 pence)
1 iRazoo point = 500/3000 of 1 cent or 0.166 cents   (0.1 pence)
1 SuperPoints point = 1 cent  (0.6 pence)

Based on PayPal $5 redemption costs.

If using Amazon vouchers, the cents per point change, as for example, Gifthulk do £5 amazon.co.uk for 749 points.

The "pence" are only rough estimates as exchange rates fluctuate all the time.

Note that SuperPoints does not use Peanut Labs (yet) so I had to use TrialPay as the only similar one on the site.

Note also, in the case of Spotify offer, you get more value from doing it on SUPERPOINTS then iRazoo than the others.

Unless you are a Brit, in which case the UK amazon vouchers using the gifthulk coins MAY make up for the lesser rate as iRazoo only allows us Brits to redeem for DOLLAR Amzon.COM vouchers, for example.

Not a lot of use to most of us, what with the shipping and customs duty costs added on top of any purchases from the USA Amazon.

GiftHulk, new version

If you are a fan of the SuperLucky button on SuperPoints then you are in luck.

Gifthulk have a similar BUT BETTER idea called the TREASURE BOX.

You get 5 keys a day to try in the treasure box.

If lucky, you can win Hulk Coins or BOOSTERS (I won a 11% booster today) that increase the points from doing offers on the offer walls or temporary daily KEYS or even, and this is the reason it is better than SuperPoints version PERMANENT KEYS.

Permanent means that if you win 3 say, then every day you get the 5 everyone gets as standard PLUS the 3 you won, so 8 a day.

If you recruit people you get PERMANENT GiftHulk KEYS.

So, in principle, you can get more and more chances to win without being capped like SuperPoints do with their 100 maximum clicks per day once Platinum, having recruited 5 people to Superpoints.

So, join up, if you do so from me, the first 2 lucky members get an extra 10 Hulk Coins from the Fountain of Youth code that I won yesterday.

Join using this link below (otherwise if you are already a member or join directly from the site, the code will not work).

Then try the code below, in the Fountain of Youth page.

Sites like OnePoll

YouGov is one of the sites a bit like OnePoll.

It has £50 minimum payout threshold, paid by cheque.

Seems to take at least 2 years to get enough surveys to get to that point.

Hence it is only really of use to those who have the patience to do-and-forget each survey sent by email.

Join to the UK site from here: https://labs.yougov.co.uk/refer/_rQtfmI3ocsa6lBt1Os89A/

If from the USA or the Emirates, try the link above, they seem to have stopped allowing us to recruit using country specific links.
You can get paid 200 points (£20) if your recruit does FIVE SURVEYS, if not, you get nothing extra for recruiting them.

So, if anyone is going to sign up, PLEASE wait until the fifth or sixth survey (not including the profile questions, they do not count) BEFORE you resign out of shear frustration at how long it takes to get to payout.

Despite the above comments, I actually quite like YouGov, there is nothing like the feeling when a £50 cheque lands on the doormat. Treat yourself.

SuperPoints new referral link, does not expire and multiple use.

Join Superpoints from this link and get an extra 25 point (25 cent) bonus.

http://superpoints.com/join/9429ho

or if that has expired try this 25 ponit bonus link.

http://superpoints.com/join/y27i3o

Both superpoints special bonus links expire in 2 days time, around about 21:00 21/April/2012

Non expiring link is:
http://superpoints.com/refer/superpoints-recruiter

I am Platinum now, only have 9 under me in my downline (and one of those is an inactive deadweight), yet I now average $5 a WEEK from their, and my, activity on the site.

Just from doing the superlucky button and watching a few videos every day. While doing the other sites like Swagbucks, iRazoo, Zoombucks, GiftHulk, Cantbeatfree and ExcitePoints.
(See the posts far below to join each of the sites like gifthulk, zoombucks, irazoo, cantbeatfree and excitepoints).

So I suggest that IF you are more popular than me (and the majority of the human race is, as I am "Johnny No-Mates") and have friends and other contacts that may be interested in joining SuperPoints, then join up and recruit more than the 5 needed to reach Platinum status (which is free, no payment to become upgraded).

GiftHulk

A new site of the ilk of Swagbucks, Zoombucks, iRazoo, Cantbeatfree,ExcitePoints is GIFTHULK.
(See further down this blog site for the other similar sites, if interested in joining them as well)

http://www.gifthulk.com/?ref=53529

I have only tested out their Customer Service, and disappointingly found them severely lacking.

However, many people like the site, so ignoring the fact that IF you get a problem, they most likely will do nothing about it, join and give them a try.

I only intend doing the Daily Poll, watch videos, like I do for all my paid-to-search type sites, and when I can get to it unexpired, the Daily code (Fountain of Youth).

One other tip, be VERY careful how you type in the email address when registering, or you may end up like me with an unusable account and have to make another one that works with the correct email address.

Then you run the risk they will one day (perhaps on Cashout request maybe) say you have TWO accounts and delete both.

After pocketing the earnings you made for them doing offers, etc.

Also, I just told them today that they spelt Facebook wrongly, and their "thanks" for the heads up was the single word "fixed". No thanks. No, how can I help you with the problem you also mentioned as having still.

Perhaps it was because of my sarky style and mention that such poor quality control and spelling was one means by which scam sites are detected.

#########GifthulkUpdate April 2012, of course as you might expect there were problems, so the new version goes live later on in the first week of April. #################
######## Gifthulk Update March 2012. ###########
Gifthulk recently just anounced that most countries are temporarily suspended from joining or activity on Gifthulk. Possibly they were getitng too much fraud and the hacking event a while ago (webpage defacement to be more exact) no doubt pissed them off as well.

Starting next week GiftHulk will be upgraded to the new, improved version.
(By "next week" they mean as from Monday 2 April 2012)

The upgrades will include complete change of design and usability.
New features will be introduced, and the changes in existing ones will be made.
As a result of the upgrade, GiftHulk will be temporarily available only for users (old and new) from:
1. USA
2. Canada
3. UK
4. Ireland
5. Australia
6. New Zealand
This is happening, because our current and new strategic partners are not able to interact with international users at this moment.

If your country is not in the list – don't worry! Your account and your Hulk Coins will be kept intact until GiftHulk will open again to a Worldwide audience. All we ask from you – don't cheat and try to enter using proxy servers or any other way – this will lead to a ban of your account.

Also, if your country is not on the list – you still can redeem your current Hulk Coins for prizes! The last Sunday Payment cycle in which you will be able to redeem will be at March 25, 2012 – next Sunday.
